Centrewood homestead is adjacent to a small yellow eyed penguin and seal colony which can be easily viewed just minutes from the house on an easy cliff top walk. There is also a great variety of native birds in our bush and gardens, as well as a family of little owls which can sometimes be seen perching at the side of our tree-lined drive.
Close by is Anderson's Inlet which is home to many water birds. Depending on the season Royal Spoonbills, Paradise ducks, Shags and Black Swans amongst others may be seen.
